What it is
A signal is the strategy's instruction for the next month: which ETFs to hold, in what weights. BestFolio computes signals from the strategy's published rules using closing prices on the last trading day of the month. You see the new allocation that evening, with the previous month's allocation alongside so you know exactly what to trade. For European users, every US ETF in a signal has a UCITS-compliant alternative with the matching ISIN.

When are signals published?+
End of each calendar month, on the last trading day, after market close. New allocations are visible the same evening, well before the next session's open.
Can I see next month's signal before month-end?+
Yes. The last few trading days of the month show a forward-looking preview based on partial data. The preview can change in the final session if a borderline ranking flips, which is rare but happens.
How do UCITS alternatives work?+
When a signal calls for SPY, BestFolio also shows the UCITS-compliant equivalent (e.g., CSPX or VUSA) with its ISIN. You enter the ISIN at your European broker. Confidence ratings flag where the UCITS alternative tracks closely vs where there are tracking-error caveats.
Are signals delayed for non-Pro users?+
No. Free-tier strategies show the same signal at the same time as Pro. The Pro tier adds more strategies and the full historical archive, not faster signals.
Do I get email alerts?+
Pro subscribers can subscribe to email alerts on signal changes. Free users see the signal on the strategy page when they visit.
